Virginia Alice Smith Cox
She was born on March 18, 1932 to Ernest C. Smith and Nellie B. Smith at their home in Kent, Oregon. She has an older sister, Joyce Short and husband Wallace Short, and a younger brother, William C. Smith and wife Elaine Smith. Mother went to see her Savior May 16, 2012 surrounded by most of her family. She had suffered a long illness of chronic leukemia until she succumbed to the illness. Jack and Virginia were wed on May 1, 1948 in Goldendale, Washington. After dad's passing, they had been married 58 years. Mom was a farmer and realtor for over 40 years. She was a wonderful wife and mother.
Harvey Vernier
HARVEY VERNIER, 83, passed away on June 2, 2012 in Spokane, WA as a result of congestive heart failure. He was born Aug. 8, 1928 at Wenatchee, WA and resided with his parents Paul & Imelda (Libey) Vernier on a farm near Ephrata, WA until the family moved to Pullman, WA. He graduated salutatorian from Pullman High School and continued his education at Washington State University where he earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree and a physics degree in 1950. Harvey opened his architectural practice in Moses Lake, WA in 1955 doing commercial and residential buildings. He participated in many community committees including the Moses Lake Citizens Committee on Capital Improvements and the Moses Lake Planning Commission. He was elected to the City Council in 1979 and was appointed in 1980 to the Washington State Board for Community College Education. Harvey was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul & Imelda Vernier; his brother Elry Vernier & sister Carol Vernier Nelson. He is survived by a sister Jean McCandless of Spokane; five nephews & four nieces. A viewing will be held from 1 to 5 PM today (Wednesday) at Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman, WA. The graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 1 PM at the Pullman Cemetery. Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, Washington is caring for the family. Robert Lamarr Carver
Robert Lamarr Carver,79, passed away Wednesday, May 23 2012 from a long and courageous battle with heart disease. He was born in Cashmere, WA to George and Alta Carver on November 30, 1932. He attended school in the Cashmere and Ephrata School Districts. Following high school education he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Gunner's Mate on the USS Yorktown during the Korean Conflict. Following his Honorable Discharge, Robert married Shirley Elizabeth Russell in Bremerton on December 31, 1955. They had four children: Mike, Steve, Ken, and Lori. They resided in both Bremerton and Silverdale, WA.

Robert Lee Paczynski, known by his friends as Bob, passed away at the age of 83. He resided in his home in Kennewick until the last week of his life where he went to Kadlec hospital and spent two days in Richland Rehab. He passed on Sunday May 6, 2012. He died of complications of Lung Cancer that had spread to other organs of his body.

Jaylien was diagnosed with malignant rhabdoid tumor (MRT) cancer about 6 months ago and although she underwent extensive treatments, she lost her battle as God called her home.
