Julio G. Alaniz

Julio G. Alaniz, 58, passed away on May 18, 2012 in his home in Moses Lake, WA. He was born in Ellis, Texas on October 9, 1953, the fourth child of Julio V. and Angelica Garza Alaniz.

Julio, or "Junior" as most knew him made his life in Moses Lake and was well known in the community for his excellent workmanship and talent for his work through the business he owned for more than 25 years, Basin Mobile Service. Julio loved and enjoyed his family and many, many friends, and was always welcoming them into his home. He will always be remembered for his Big Barbeques and boating parties. He will be deeply missed and will always have a special place in our hearts.

May he rest in peace.

He is survived by his son Julio Alaniz, Jr. of Moses Lake, his grandson Alex Alaniz, sister Enedina Mendez of California, three brothers Hector G. Alaniz, Charlie Alaniz and Noel Alaniz, all of Moses Lake; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by daughter Jessica Alaniz, sister Enedelia Rentenia and his parents, Julio V. and Angelica Alaniz.

Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 23rd, and Thursday, May 24th from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with Funeral Services to begin at 1:00 p.m. in El Sendero de la Cruz, 2227 Peninsula Dr., Moses Lake.
