Jaylien Santoyo

| May 18, 2012 6:00 AM

Jaylien Santoyo, 10 months, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in Moses Lake, WA.  Jaylien was diagnosed with malignant rhabdoid tumor (MRT) cancer about 6 months ago and although she underwent extensive treatments, she lost her battle as God called her home. Jaylien was born July 5, 2011 in Moses Lake, WA to Karina Wheeler and Victor Santoyo.

In her short life, since the day she was born, she touched us all.  Even while ill, she always retained that twinkle in her eyes and a smile that melted hearts.  She was an angel; good natured and loving towards those who knew and loved her.  She loved to play with her toys, her big brother, or could entertain herself in the wonder of her feet and toes.

She is survived by her mother, Karina M. Wheeler, father Victor M. Santoyo, her 3-year-old brother, Aiden Wheeler, grandparents Donnie (Wheeler) Juarez and Lucy Guijosa, grandparents Victor and Maribel Santoyo and her great-grandmother Mary Baeza, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 17th in New Beginnings Christian Center, 318 W. Northshore Dr., Moses Lake, WA.  Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Guarding Angels Cemetery, 2595 Rd. L N.E., Moses Lake, WA.
