Arlo E. Leishman

Arlo E. Leishman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather joined our Lord in Heaven on May 9, 2012. He was surrounded by family at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2012 Kayser's Chapel of Memories, Moses Lake. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Monday, May 14th at Kayser's Chapel. Burial will be in

Arlo was born January 7, 1923 in Wellsville, Utah to Earl and Emma Leishman. After growing up in the farming community of Wellsville

with his brothers and sisters, Donna, Verl, Loy, Dale, Calvin, Boyd and Karen, Arlo graduated from high school. He joined the Air Corp in 1943 - 1946. After leaving the Air Corp, he met Arva Lyells and they were married on May 31, 1946.

In 1954 he moved to Moses Lake with the dream of farming. He bought 100 acres which was the beginning of his dreams. In 1982 he started the beginning of sub-dividing his farm, making it Parker Spring

Subdivision. During this time he attended college and received his Real Estate license.

Arlo enjoyed hunting and camping with family. Up until the time of his death, he enjoyed the stock-market and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Arva; his five children, Richard (Jamie) Leishman, Lori (Dennis) Dexter, Chris (Kathryn) Leishman, Debbie (Cliff) Harden, and Brent (Ronda) Leishman; a sister, Donna; brothers, Dale Leishman and Boyd Leishman; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his grandson Ryan Harden.
