Robert Benjamin Scanlan
Robert (Bobby) Benjamin Scanlan, lifelong Moses Lake resident, unexpectedly passed away this weekend at age 25. Bobby loved art and had a passion for music. He was a guitarist and founding member of Sally's Army, a local rock band. Bobby was a very caring and generous person who never took life for granted. He lived life to the fullest before it was tragically cut short. He was preceded in death by his older sister Melanie Nicole Scanlan. He is survived by his Father Robert Glenn Scanlan of Moses Lake, WA, Mother Sieglinde "Siggy" Mueller, and sister Steffanie Jo Caudle both of San Angelo, TX, Brothers Robert and Thomas Geiger of Spokane, WA, Grandparents Don and Eva Getzinger of Twin Falls, ID, Aunt Kimberly Greenlee of Portland, OR, Aunt Teresa Davidson of Wenatchee,WA and several cousins nieces and nephews. Amelia (Nena) M. Montemayor, 88, passed away on March 24, 2023, at Holy Family of Spokane Washington. She was born July 12, 1934, to Procopio and Maria Del Rufugio Montemayor in Doctor Gonzalez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was married to the late Jesus G. Montemayor. Amelia enjoyed traveling between Washington and Mexico with her husband. She worked at Carnation in Moses Lake. She loved the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-children these were the highlights of her life. Amelia is survived by her Daughter SanJuana (Marc) Alvarez, son Jose Juan (Irma) Montemayor and son Saul (Oneida) Montemayor; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
