Clifford Edward Alexander

Clifford Edward Alexander, 75, longtime Moses Lake resident died in his home Monday, March 25, 2013. He was born September 4, 1937 in Lame Deer, Montana to Charles and Helen (Glimm) Alexander.

Cliff graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1956. After High School he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was Honorably Discharged in 1961. He later worked for what is now Basic American Foods as an electrician and he retired in 2002. He enjoyed softball, bowling, church activities and family history/genealogy. He was a faithful and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his children: daughter, Lexi Alexander of Bremerton, WA, stepson Scott Yerxa, Liberty Lake, WA, stepdaughter Cindy McKinnsey of Spokane, WA, stepson Cary Yerxa of West Valley City, UT and adopted daughter Antoinette Rudford o f Renton, WA; grandchildren Tatyana Yerxa, Thomas Yerxa, Nathaniel Yerxa and Mason Alexander; and many friends.

Funeral services with military honors will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in The Rose Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1036 W. Rose St., Moses Lake, WA with Bishop Don Tucker of the Moses Lake 3rd Ward conducting. Burial will be in the Washington State Veteran's Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA.
