Two arrested after carjacking last week, sheriff's office reports

WIAA releases updated process for return to play
The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association released an update on Sept. 19 to better clarify some of the questions regarding the process towards returning to sports and activities. The WIAA worked with the Washington Schools Risk Management Pool and Clear Risk after talking with the Governor’s Office and the Washington Department of Health in developing the list of steps required before a return to play is possible.
State to issue grants to support youth-oriented nonprofits
The Washington State Department of Commerce recently announced it is partnering with School’s Out Washington to distribute approximately $9 million from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act to support programs for children and young adults.
