Schedule B: 8th Street Reconstruction: The construction of the overlay of approximately 600 lineal feet of 8th Street, including but not limited to pulverizing the existing pavement, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation, storm drainage improvements, cement concrete curb, gutters, curb ramps, sidewalks, driveway entrances, cement treated base, hot mix asphalt pavement, pavement marking, miscellaneous surface restoration, traffic control and all other appurtenances required to complete the work. Additive Item No. 1: Schedule C: 8th Street Water Main Crossing: The construction of approximately 80 LF of 8-inch PVC C900 water main at the intersection of 8th Street and Weaver Road. The basis of award shall be the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder for Schedule A and Schedule B, or Schedule A, Schedule B, and Additive Item No. 1: Schedule C as available funding allows and as it best serves the interests of the Contracting Agency. The Work shall be substantially complete within 40 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Warden, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. These herbicide treatments will be made pursuant to a Department of Ecology NPDES General Permit for Aquatic Weed Control in Irrigation Systems (Permit No. WAG-991010). The District's service area is located in Moses Lake, Warden and Othello areas of Grant and Adams Counties. The District operates the East Low Canal and its laterals plus some laterals on the Potholes East Canal. 49 locations on various canals, laterals, wasteways and drains within the District's service areas will receive these treatments to control the growth of algae, moss and pondweeds. Frequency of treatments varies from as often as biweekly to as seldom as twice per irrigation season depending on location and circumstances. Permanent signs giving notice of aquatic herbicide treatments have been erected at public road crossing of treated waterways within one mile of the treatment sites. The herbicides being used for these treatments are copper sulfate, Captain Aquatic Herbicide (copper), Endothall and Magnicide H(acrolein) which are registered for such use under the Federal insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Water remains suitable for irrigation use during aquatic herbicide treatments. Treated water is not suitable for drinking or swimming. Advertisement for Pre-Solicitation Informational Meeting Port of Moses Lake - Grant County International Airport Runway 14L-32R Line-of-Sight Rehabilitation Project The Port of Moses Lake is conducting an Informational Meeting to interested contractors and suppliers to explain the draft scope of work and project requirements associated with the future Runway 14L-32R Line-of-Sight Rehabilitation project. This project is anticipated to advertise in May 2019. The meeting will be held on April 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Grant County International Airport, located at 7810 Andrews NE, Moses Lake, WA 98337, in the fire department training room located in the building immediately east of the airport terminal. Following the Informational Meeting, contractors and suppliers can schedule a 30-minutue, one-on-one phone meeting with the Port to discuss the project through April 30, 2019. This would be an opportunity for contractors to express/provide concerns or recommendations regarding the scope and project requirements with Port staff.
