Turkey dinner scheduled Monday at Senior Center
Turkey and all the trimmings will be served Monday at $12:30 p.m. at the Moses Lake Senior Citizens Center.
Entertainment will follow the potluck dinner. All seniors and their guests are invited to attend.
Free blood pressure checks will be available from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday’s activities at the center will include quilt tying, ceramics, senior meal and cards. On Wednesday quilt tying and the senior meal will be offered until 12:30 p.m.
The center will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday, Nov. 27 and 28.
Ghost Riders Club freed of theft blame
It wasn’t the Ghost Riders.
Through a misunderstanding, The Herald reported in the Basin Records Column that Baker Jewelry was missing two demonstrator mother’s rings shortly after two members of the Ghost Riders motorcycle club had been in the store.
Ephrata Police Chief Floyd Hansen said the two persons in question were reached by officers, and it was learned they weren’t members of the Ghost Riders, which was not involved in the theft of the two rings.
Recording artist to sing at Royal
Recording artist Gary Williams will sing gospel music Sunday at Church of the Nazarene at 10 and 11 a.m. services.
Williams has performed on radio and television from Nashville, Tenn., and has made several records.
The public is invited to both services, said Pastor John Hahn.
Unity sets class here
Unity Students of Truth will meet for its monthly study group class 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hallmark Inn.
David McClure, minister of Spokane Unity Church, will conduct the session entitled life is for loving.

Students give free musical
Moses Lake Christian School will present a musical “Cool in the Furnace” 7:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church.
The public is invited and admission is free.
