Duane Harlan Dunsire

December 19, 1939 – April 8, 2019

Duane Harlan Dunsire, born December 19, 1939, in Seattle, Washington, passed from this life into the next April 8, 2019, at home in Coos Bay, Oregon at the age of 79, after a long battle with health problems.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Melissa Noel, parents Harlan and Gladys Dunsire and wife Avie. He is survived by his sister Marilyn (Bob) Fakler of Royal Slope, Washington, daughters Melissa (Al) Carrigan of Eureka, Montana and Heather (Clay) Poplin og Gallatin, Missouri, stepson Scott (Lisa) Tannehill of Grants Pass, Oregon and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was quick to laugh, slow to anger, and a loyal spouse and friend. He had a strong testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ and was actively involved in church. He loved to fish. He was an excellent dancer and was often complimented on his dancing. He will be missed deeply. There will be a private service held for family.
