Washington Hay Growers offers scholarship

KENNEWICK — The Washington State Hay Growers Association has announced that it is offering a $2,500 scholarship. Priority will be given to members in agriculture, then non-members.

“Eligible applicants must be high school graduates planning to attend an institution of higher education (university, college, or technical program), current undergraduates, or graduate students,” stated a press release. “The recipient will also be required to report to the Washington State Hay Growers Association for at least one year following the scholarship award.”

Anyone wishing to apply for the scholarship should fill out the application form and submit a 500 word or less essay stating future goals and career objectives.
