James Thad Nelson, 78, died as a result of a massive stroke on August 31, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, WA. Thad, as he was known to family and friends was born the oldest son and 2nd child of James Wilbur and Rilda Luella Stocks Nelson on February 7, 1934 in Lewiston, Utah.

John Patrick Goodall, age 93, a resident of Colville, WA passed away on February 15, 2012 in Colville. John was born on March 27, 1918 in Bakersfield, CA the son of Oswald Patrick and Harriett (Randall) Goodall.

Ralph P. Kooy, age 84, of Quincy, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 19. Ralph was born February 1, 1920 in Monarch, Alberta, Canada, the son of Pete and Jennie (Oldegbers) Kooy. He attended school in Fort Kipp, Alberta; in November, 1941 he joined the Canadian Army. He served with the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, working with the tanks. He served in England, Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany until the war ended in 1945. After he was discharged from the military, he went back to farming with his father in Nobleford, Alberta, and spent his winters as a welder in Vancouver, B.C.

Ralph E. Seibel, Sr. of Moses Lake, passed away July 8, 2011 at the age of 89 at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA. Ralph was born on July 21, 1921 to John and Anna Seibel in Windsor, Colorado. His family moved to the Wapato area when he was a young man. He married Enid Batten on December 29, 1940. Ralph, Enid and family moved to Moses Lake in 1959. Ralph had worked in the CCC camps in Oregon as a young man, then on various farms and U&I Sugar until it closed, then Ralph did maintenance at BBCC until he retired. He loved to travel with his wife in their 5th wheel all over including Alaska, Canada and Mexico. He was involved in the Moses Lake Yacht Club and Sandy Sams. He enjoyed going to wrestling matches, ball games, camping and salmon fishing. He was on a bowling league and a Master Gardener. He loved going to the Health Zone. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Enid Seibel and their son, Glenn. He is survived by his children Paul Seibel of Los Angles, Ca., Ralph Seibel Jr. (Rosie) of Spokane, Wa., Dianne Aldridge (Dick) of Vancleave, Ms., Ron Seibel (Cathy) of Moses Lake, Wa., Cheryl Shantz (Gary) of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Lyle Seibel of Pleasanton, Ca., David Seibel (Sandy) of Portland, Ore., Dan Seibel (Janine) of Spokane, Wa. He had 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Ralph was a dedicated husband and father and loved his family very much. The family requests no flowers and wish donations be made to the cancer care of your choice. The Seibels will greet family and friends on July 21, 2011 at 11:00AM at Benson's Funeral Chapel (5th and Division), Moses Lake.

Ceann Raymond Larsen, 72, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Summer Wood Alzheimer's Special Care Center, in Moses Lake, Washington, with her beloved family by her side. Ceann was born September 2, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho, to the parents of Cedric Odell Raymond and Gwen Johnson. Ceann is the oldest of three girls. She grew up in small towns in Idaho, and was Valedictorian of her High School graduation class of 1959. She then went on to Idaho State University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She also served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New York area for 18 months. She taught school for a few years before she married the love of her life Gerald Larson on May 26, 1967 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They lived in many rural communities in Idaho, Utah and Washington while making Moses Lake home for nearly 30 years.
