Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories with Billy Sawyer officiating. Viewing will be from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Friday, Nov. 26th. Peggy Lucille Kienzle, 86 years-old, a long-time Warden resident, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in Cumming, Georgia, after a brief illness. She was born on July 22, 1925 in Chula, Missouri to Thomas Orton Dillard and Clara Beuhla McCrary. She graduated from High School in Concrete, Washington and married John Thomas Kienzle on July 3, 1943 in Mount Vernon, Washington. She worked at several jobs during her life but is most remembered working at the People National Bank, in Warden, Othello and Moses Lake. Then later, for Skone and Connors in Warden, as their secretary-bookkeeper. She moved to Othello after her husband's death in 2001. She was a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother. She will be missed.

Mondell Gillette Hankins, 83, of Ephrata passed away on April 2 at Veterans Hospital in Seattle. He was born on February 9, 1923 to Benjamin F. and Mary Ola Hankins in Bixby, Okla. Mr. Hankins married Dollie Mae Johnston on July 28,1942 in 0kmulgee, Okla. Mondell came to Stratford in 1949 and worked on the Columbia Basin Canal. He started to farm in 1953 in Stratford until 1975; he then moved south of Ephrata in 1975 and he retired in 2002 then he moved to Seattle area after a accident in 2002.
