Peggy Kienzle

Peggy Lucille Kienzle, 86 years-old, a long-time Warden resident, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in Cumming, Georgia, after a brief illness. She was born on July 22, 1925 in Chula, Missouri to Thomas Orton Dillard and Clara Beuhla McCrary. She graduated from High School in Concrete, Washington and married John Thomas Kienzle on July 3, 1943 in Mount Vernon, Washington. She worked at several jobs during her life but is most remembered working at the People National Bank, in Warden, Othello and Moses Lake. Then later, for Skone and Connors in Warden, as their secretary-bookkeeper. She moved to Othello after her husband's death in 2001. She was a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother. She will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Wesley and Jack Dillard, a sister, Pauline Huff, and three great-grandchildren.

Survivors are one brother, Douglas Dillard, Virginia, two daughters, Mary (Shannon) Owen, Lamar, Arkansas, and Dorothy (Lee) Eppich, formerly of Othello, now living in Cumming, Georgia, six grand-daughters, Heather (Eric) Benson, Basin City, Washington, Jenny Eppich, Cumming, Georgia, Christi (Steve) Brown, Othello, Washington, Misty (Monte) Pope, Shelley, Idaho, Mandy (Mark) Pim, Newark, California, and Mindy (Chad) Durden, Cumming, Georgia and 28 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Byers Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia. She will be buried at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens in Othello, Washington.
