Delana "Sue" Zimbelman
Delana "Sue" Zimbelman, 55, of Ephrata passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 4, 2013 in Spokane, WA. She was born November 17, 1957 to Tom Gray and Betty Gray in Brawley, California. In Sue's early years she moved to Quincy, Washington where later she would start her own family. She then moved to Soap Lake where she met and later married William "Bill" Zimbelman. They finally settled in Ephrata where they would establish their family ranch and raise their children. Sue fulfilled her passion of becoming a cosmetologist. Fierce and independent, she managed her own barbershop where she established loyal customers who grew to be lifelong friends. Always the mother, the next phase was even more fulfilling becoming a grandmother. Known as Nana, she never missed the chance to spoil her grandchildren. It was very typical for Nana to introduce all "the firsts": first cereal, first sippy cup, first underwear, and of course the first cowboy boots.
