Michael Dean Treadwell
Michael Dean Treadwell was born in Tacoma to Ray and Norma Treadwell on July 3, 1940, and was raised in Eatonville. He passed away due to natural causes on June 3, 2022.
Harold J. Stadshaug
Harold J. Stadshaug, age 84, born July 29, 1922, to George and Berthe Stadshaug in Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away June 25, 2007, in Port Townsend. He married-Ruth Gaylord in Portland, Ore., June 22, 1946, who survives him at the family home in Port Townsend. He is survived also by his two sons, Harold Jr., of Yakima, Gaylord, of Hana, Maui, Hawaii, daughter Mardee of Port Townsend, two grandchildren, Amy Murray and Andrew Prince, and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He attended business college, served in VVWII, attended the University of Washington and was in Title Insurance Business in Moses Lake and Yakima, before entering real estate in 1978. He was active in community affairs in Moses Lake as an Elder and Treasurer of the Presbyterian Church, served on the Planning Commission and City Council before being elected Mayor of Moses Lake, appointed by Gov. Evans to the Traffic Safety Commission, elected President of Washington State Land Title Association and was a member of Rotary and Elks clubs. After moving to Port Townsend in 1986, he joined Windemere Real Estate as Sales Manager and retired in 2002. Memorial service will be held in Port Townsend in August. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to charity of choice. Harold will be remembered as a gentleman of integrity and wit. He enjoyed gardening and golfing.

Uriel Serrano, 65, longtime resident of Moses Lake, WA passed away May 23, 2013 at Central Washington Hospital after a long battle with various medical complications that lead to his passing.
William Mire Shines Sr.
William Mire Shines Sr. (Bill), 83 went to sleep in death in Moses Lake, Washington on Sunday, January 12th, 2014. Bill was born in Tom, Oklahoma on August 25th, 1930 to Granison Shines and Martha Shines (Burton). Bill served in the military and was honorably discharged as Corporal, on August 27th, 1952. He resided in Boise, Idaho where he completed school and began raising a family. In 1965 Bill moved his family to Moses Lake, Washington, where he worked for Columbia Basin Job Corps Center as a Baking Instructor, for 30 years.

Jerry Heilig, 81, a resident of Moses Lake since November of 1952 passed away at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Washington on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
John Michael Gebelin
John Michael Gebelin, 53, Moses Lake resident, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moses Lake with Father Alejandro Trejo as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake. Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Donald Frick passed away peacefully on May 17, 2022 in Moses Lake, Washington.
Pam Boole
Pam Boole was born to Alice and Costa Watts in Longview, Washington, on Dec. 28, 1944, and passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on February 13, 2023, in Moses Lake, Washington. Pam was the middle child, with Colice her big sister, and Clyde the baby of the family. She graduated from RA Long High School and soon after, she became an investigator for the Longview Police Department and subsequently worked on investigations with the Washington State Welfare Fraud Office. In 1994, she married Doug Boole and she became JuJu to all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren that would join the family. In 2000 Pam and Doug retired, bought a truck and a fifth wheel and joined all those other gray-haired people touring the U.S.

MOSES LAKE — Since April 18, the state of Washington has recovered more than $300 million paid in fraudulent unemployment insurance claims, according to a senior official with the Employment Security Department in Moses Lake.
Maxine ‘Max’ Ann Neal
Maxine “Max” Ann Neal, 82, was born June 25, 1940. in Electric City, Washington to Wilburn and Suzie Cassal. Max started her life’s journey in Electric City where she graduated from Bridgeport High School. She had an itch for travel and adventure that took her across the U.S. and landed her in places like the Kitsap Peninsula and Adak, Alaska. Maxine was not just privy to exploring, she could also pick up almost any art and craft and create something beautiful. Anything from painting flowers or landscapes on antique items to making hundreds of quilts for local cancer patients. Especially in her earlier years, her forte was her Harley; she was never happier then when she was soaking in the freedom on her bike. Max joined an amazing local church where she found faith, comfort, and family bonds. Moses Lake Baptist Church was her home away from home.
