COLUMBIA BASIN — The 2022 Gridiron Guide will be arriving on newsstands and at subscribers’ doorsteps on Wednesday with full coverage of the 10 high school football teams in the Basin.

There are many storylines that will be going on throughout the 2022 football season here in the Basin; Can ACH and Royal rebuild their state championship rosters from a season ago? How will the four new head coaches fare in their first season under the Friday night lights of Central Washington?

Gridiron coverage includes photos, interviews with players and coaches, team changes and more. Each team has their own story previewing the upcoming season, along with a schedule and roster. Pick up a copy and help us support our local athletes.

Editor’s Note: We wish all of our local teams a safe and successful season filled with great memories, life lessons, laughs and team spirit. The last few years of the pandemic have been difficult for our local student athletes and we’re excited to see them taking the field and having fun. Thank you for contributing to the season ahead and know that the Basin is behind you in all of the losses and victories you may face this year. — R. Hans Miller, Herald Managing Editor
