Wildcats improve to 10-3 with win over Evergreen State
ELLENSBURG – The Central Washington Wildcats picked up their seventh straight win with a 28-point defeat of Evergreen State Tuesday night, shooting 46.3% from the field and 41% from beyond the three-point arc in an 83-55 win.

BBCC volleyball to host breast cancer awareness night
MOSES LAKE – Wednesday night’s Big Bend volleyball matchup between the Vikings and Yakima Valley will also serve as a fundraiser for the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation, bringing awareness to and raising money for the fight against breast cancer.

SEATTLE — The Gonzaga Bulldogs will match up against the UConn Huskies in the Continental Tire Seattle Tip-Off this winter, a rematch of the 2023 Elite Eight from the NCAA Tournament, Gonzaga Athletics announced Tuesday.

MOSES LAKE – Rodeos have been hosted across eastern Washington and northern Idaho over the previous six weeks, bringing in riders and competitions from across the country and beyond. Royal girls soccer begins 2023 campaign
ROYAL CITY – The Royal Knights finished 2022 as the third team out of the South Central Athletic Conference (East), falling to Wahluke 1-0 in the consolation semifinals of the SCAC Tournament. Royal opens league play next week at home against Wahluke at 6 p.m.

Registration for Othello fall soccer closes Aug. 2
OTHELLO – Registration for youth fall soccer is open through August 2, the City of Othello announced on Tuesday. Teams will be available in the following age divisions: ages 4-5, ages 6-7, ages 8-9 and ages 10-12. Volunteer coaches are necessary to host a team, and high school-age coaches may volunteer according to the release. Teams are assigned at random.
