Gary Clitherall Carter, age 70, of Royal City Washington, passed away September 16, 2012. He was born in Oxford Arkansas on June 6, 1942 to Hix and Veda Carter. Gary graduated from Oxford High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Arkansas State Teacher's College. He worked as a teacher only temporarily. Left Arkansas and come to Washington State where he was employed at Boeing. He retired professionally as an Engineer for the Department of Transportation 1994. He was married to Becky J. (Wilkins) Carter in 1995. He was an active member of the Nazarene Church. He cherished his relationship with his friends, family, and people he met along the way. His love was unconditional to all he met. He was friendly and easy to approach learning all he could about a person within just a few minutes. He will be truly missed by many. He was survived by his wife, of Royal City, and his children; Lanny Paul (Sue) Carter of W. Richland, WA, Lisa K (Brad) Waltrip of Arkansas, and step children Mark Wilkins of Royal City, WA, Melisa (Rodney) White of Moses Lake, WA, Shane Wilkins of Royal City, WA, and Karren Wilkins of Othello WA, and his brother Larry (Jane) Carter of Kansas City, MO. Gary also leaves 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way, to cherish his loving memory. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral arrangements will be held at 3:00 pm, September 21, 2012, at Royal Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Royal City Washington. Robert Lamarr Carver
Robert Lamarr Carver,79, passed away Wednesday, May 23 2012 from a long and courageous battle with heart disease. He was born in Cashmere, WA to George and Alta Carver on November 30, 1932. He attended school in the Cashmere and Ephrata School Districts. Following high school education he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Gunner's Mate on the USS Yorktown during the Korean Conflict. Following his Honorable Discharge, Robert married Shirley Elizabeth Russell in Bremerton on December 31, 1955. They had four children: Mike, Steve, Ken, and Lori. They resided in both Bremerton and Silverdale, WA.
