Jeremy Richard Skinner

Jeremy Richard Skinner, aka Tweeker, 23, died on his birthday, July 25, 2009 as the result of a car accident near Moses Lake. Jeremy was born July 25, 1986 in Moses Lake to Michael Douglas and Deborah Kaye (Brower) Skinner.

Jeremy attended school in Moses Lake his whole life and graduated from Moses Lake High School in 2005. After graduating he moved to Spokane and attended ITT Technical Institute, while attending there he worked numerous jobs. He also met two very special people that taught him about the gospel of Jesus Christ and he was baptized in 2007. After 4 years in Spokane he moved back to Moses Lake and then moved to Seattle with a friend and worked at the Nampa Warehouse for a year. He moved back to Moses Lake and lived with his parents. He helped out his parents and many, many friends on different projects for them at the time of his death.

Jeremy is survived by his dear parents Mike and Debbie, Moses Lake, one brother Jeffrey Skinner, his paternal grandparents Jim and Kempie Skinner, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many dear friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by uncle Richard Skinner and Terry Neal, and maternal grandparents Elvira and Jacob Lorenzo Brower.

Jeremy grew into a wonderful young man. He was always helping others, any time of the day or night. He was the type of person you could turn to for anything. He would listen and give the advice you needed. He touched many hearts. This special man has made an impact on everyone who came in his path. Never will he be forgotten, but remembered forever.

Viewing for friends and family will be from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, in the Grape Drive Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 925 N. Grape Drive, Moses Lake, with Bishop Rod Redford officiating. Burial and concluding services will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, East Wenatchee, WA.

Jeremy’s family suggests memorial contributions may be made in Jeremy’s memory to the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1337, Moses Lake, WA 98837.
