Pearl (“Skip”) Munson 84, of Moses Lake passed away at St. John’s Hospital in Longview, Wash., on Sunday morning Oct. 12, 2008. Skip had worked at the Moses Lake Public Library for 48 years, retiring in 2004 because of health concerns. She was born in Chicago, Ill., on May 5, 1924, to Frederick and Antonia Hitzemann. After graduating from high school she took some college classes. She worked at UCLA in the science department during WW II. It was there that she met Albert Munson.
