Vernon Miner
Vernon Fred Miner passed away at the age of 59 in Moses Lake. Vern was born December 4, 1951 and raised in Warden, Washington graduated from Warden High School and worked at Basin American Foods from 1973 until 2010 mostly in plant maintenance. Vern is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and June Miner. He is survived by his wife, Mary (St. John) of Moses Lake, a daughter Jennifer (Andre') Roybal, grandsons Drake and Devon, a sister, Dorthy Evans and a brother Rick Miner of Lincoln City, OR, a brother Terry Miner of Warden and nieces, Tara and Satin Miner of Moses Lake. Vern and Mary enjoyed traveling; their favorite destinations were to Las Vegas and to the ocean for whale watching.

Leon Gordon, Sr., 84, Centralia resident and former longtime Moses Lake resident passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Sharon Care Center in Centralia, Washington. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2011 at Kayser's Chapel. Burial will be at Pioneer Memorial Gardens. Leon was born on June 21, 1927 in Norphlet, Arkansas son of the late Gus and Mary Lou (Reedy) Gordon. He was raised in Louisiana. Leon retired from American National Can in 1989 in Kent, Washington and moved with his wife, Clara, to Moses Lake. Clara passed away in 2004 and Leon continued to live in Moses Lake until 2005. He has resided in California and Centralia.

Gerald Henry Isaak
Gerald Isaak age 71, of Moses Lake, passed away on November 29, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. Jerry was born in Longview, Washington on January 4, 1942. He is survived by his three children, daughters, Elizabeth Roman in Issaquah, Washington, Tami Leonard in Beverly Hills, Florida, and his son Jeff Isaak in Moses Lake, Washington. Gerald was predeceased by his parents Ted and Edith Isaak and has two surviving brothers Darrel Isaak and Ronald Isaak both residing in Moses Lake, Washington. Gerald's family moved from Longview to Moses Lake to do excavation work for installing waterlines in the Columbia Basin Area. He was a trade machinist and worked for the Columbia Basin Machine Shop for many years. He loved hunting and playing pool. Private cremation will take place under the direction of Pioneer Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Moses Lake.
