Glenn Daniel William Timpke went to be with Jesus on Tuesday. Glenn was born Nov. 2, 1942 in Yakima, Wash. to Glen Daniel Timpke and Jean Lois Timpke, the third of four children. Glenn grew up in Yakima, later moving to Moses Lake, and then to Ephrata where he resided for 34 years. Glenn worked as a baker most of his life with the exception of some farm work and truck driving, and for the last seven years he was employed at the Columbia Basin Irrigation District.

David T. Phillips was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 12, 1943 to Louis and Doris Phillips of Lehi, Utah. When he was 18 months old the family moved to Parma, Idaho to begin a family farm. As a youth he attended the Parma public schools, where he excelled in athletics. He played football, basketball, baseball, and wrestled. As a senior he received the Outstanding Athlete award. Upon graduation in 1962, he accepted a scholarship to play football at Ricks College, in southern Idaho.
