George Henry Horn
George Horn, longtime resident of Moses Lake, died in his home in the evening hours of Monday May 22, 2006 after a long illness. On January 30, 1922 George was born to Adolph and Lydia Horn in Euclid, Minn. (where he always called home).
Darrell LeRoy Dickson
Darrell LeRoy Dickson was born on April 6, 1934 in Jewel City, Kansas to Clifford and Ruth Dickson. He passed away on October 14th, 2010 and will be missed by his family and friends.
Stephen Raymond Smith
Stephen Raymond Smith died Monday, December 28, 2009, at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, from complications resulting from cancer treatment. He was 60 years of age. Steve was born May 25, 1949, in Wenatchee, WA to Cyril R. and Esther R. “Peggy” Smith. He graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1967 and from Washington State University in 1971. He later obtained his master’s a degree from Eastern Washington University. Career-wise, Steve was a teacher and librarian/media specialist in the Warden School District, located in Grant County. He retired in 2005. After retirement, Steve returned to the Wenatchee area, settling in East Wenatchee. He was active in Wenatchee’s First United Methodist Church, the congregation in which he grew up. He was also a volunteer at the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center. His interests including reading, traveling and collecting fine art.

Fumiko Yabuki was born in Houghton, Washington on March 4, 1926 to Japanese immigrants, Kameji and Haru. A friendly neighbor gave the 6 Yabuki children their “American” names, and thus she became “Betty.”
George I. Zucker
September 16, 1942 - September 16, 2022 George Zucker of Pasco, Washington passed away on Sept. 16, 2022, at his home surrounded by family members on his 80th birthday. He was born in Spokane, Washington on Sept. 16, 1942, to Leland and Lillian Caudill. His father passed away on July 5, 1943. His mother later married George Zucker. Early in his career he worked with his family in the cattle industry, later joining the construction industry working as a member of Operating Engineers. In the earlier 1970s he purchased his own equipment and began operating his own business, mainly in developing agricultural farmland. In 1985 he was involved in an industrial accident, leading him to retire due to the injuries received.
