George I. Zucker

George Zucker of Pasco, Washington passed away on Sept. 16, 2022, at his home surrounded by family members on his 80th birthday.

He was born in Spokane, Washington on Sept. 16, 1942, to Leland and Lillian Caudill. His father passed away on July 5, 1943. His mother later married George Zucker.

Early in his career he worked with his family in the cattle industry, later joining the construction industry working as a member of Operating Engineers. In the earlier 1970s he purchased his own equipment and began operating his own business, mainly in developing agricultural farmland. In 1985 he was involved in an industrial accident, leading him to retire due to the injuries received.

He became involved with his love of classic cars and began working on building cars for himself. This led into another business adventure, which he continued for many years until he finally decided to retire for good.

He had a great passion in collecting antiques, going to swap meets and spending time in the outdoors. He also loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and foster children.

He is preceded in death by his father Leland, mother Lillian, stepfather George, son Byron and numerous relatives. He is survived by his sister Lee (Bruce), wife Lynda, sons Rob (Dawn) and Brock (Lisa), two stepsons Jimmy (Megan) and Tony, and Viktor. He is also survived by his nephew Scott (Kerri) and his niece Terra (Michael) and numerous grandchildren as well as multiple great-grandchildren and foster children.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Oct. 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pasco Red Lion. A burial service with friends and family will be held at Marshall Cemetery at a later date.
