Geraldine R. "Gerry" Henry passed away at her home in Spokane, WA on November 28, 2010. She was born June 12, 1923 in Wenatchee, WA to Charles I. "Doc" and Harriet L. (Periman) Harrison. She was raised in Clayton, WA and attended schools in Clayton and Deer Park before graduating in 1941. Gerry went on to graduate from the Spokane Deaconess School of Nursing in 1944. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles Joe Henry. They were married on Sep 14, 1943 prior to his departure for service overseas. She was employed at Tri-County Hospital in Deer Park from the day it opened in 1958 until the family moved to Moses Lake in 1971. She worked at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake until she retired. Gerry was interested in genealogy and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her five children: Harriet Vines of Sequim, WA; Mary Kay (Rick) Bruck and Patricia Ann (Randy) Bruck both of Spokane, John C. (Darcy) Henry of Walla Walla, WA and Michael T. (Debbie) Henry of Eureka, MT. She is also survived by her sister Lois (Leonard) Turrell of Puyallup, WA. In addition, she is survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00AM at Heritage Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers please make a contribution to the charity of you choice. The family would like to thank those members of Spokane Hospice and the caregivers who gave our mother such loving care at the end of her journey.

Marion C. Spence was born on March 12, 1918 in Omaha, Nebraska to immigrant parents Simon B. Epstein and Adele Marcus Epstein. She died at the age of nearly 93. Marion was born the year that 6% of the world's population died during an influenza epidemic and as World War 1 was winding down. Her family moved to southern California when she was a young girl. She has seen many changes in the world during her lifetime. Marion was a "City Girl" most of her life until she moved to Royal City nearly 10 years ago to live with her daughter and son in law, Dwain and Marilyn Forester. Marion married her husband, James William Spence, during the depths of the depression. He preceded her death in 1979. She is survived by her children, afore mentioned daughter Marilyn, Donna Johnson of Star Idaho and James William Spence Jr of Redding, California, and her brother Elliott Epstein of San Jose, California. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jay S. Estern. She has 12 grandchildren and a great many great and great great grandchildren. Marion was a stay at home mom, a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and community volunteer until both girls married within one month of each other in 1959. She then went to work and worked until her retirement form the Social Security Administration at age 68.

Kenneth M. Wedge, born in El Monte, California on August 21,1939 to William and Madeline Wedge. He was one of four siblings, two older brothers, and a younger sister. His love of cars had him working on and speeding around Southern California until his late twenties. Looking to start a family, he moved to Montana with his new wife and raised two boys. He relocated to Nevada in the late 80's, during the Las Vegas construction boom, where he worked, prospered and retired out of Laborer Union 872 in 1994. After retiring, he built custom wood furniture and turned that deep passion into a profession. He started a Los Vegas business called "Wedge Woodworks" with his youngest son. The business lasted for nine years.
