Maria Anita Montemayor

Maria Anita Montemayor, 56, longtime Warden resident, died Thursday morning March 10, 2011 in Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. Maria was born August 22, 1954 in Los Ramones, Nueva León, Mexico to Dario M. and Beatriz Pruneda.

Maria was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Juan M. Montemayor, sons Juan R. and Nicholas Montemayor, 1 granddaughter Amber Lee Rose, her siblings Eulogia Martinez, Ernesto Pruneda, Conrado Pruneda, Beatriz Islas, Graciela Martinez, Marcela Pruneda and Dario Pruneda. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Nancy Pruneda.

Viewing will be held from 2 - 6 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2011 in Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Warden with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Tomas Vidal at 11 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2011 in Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Warden. Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Warden.
