Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Moses Lake with Pastor Darayl Larsen officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden. Viewing will be held Monday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Kayser's Chapel and Crematory. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

She passed away on Sunday, May 31 in Salt Lake City. Her funeral was held in Sandy, Utah June 4 at her LDS stake center.

On Jan. 21, Jay went to be with Jesus after a wonderful day spent cross-country skiing with his children and granddaughter. Jay was born on Oct. 12, 1949 in Ephrata to Fritz and Carol Schwab. He was raised on the family farm north of Wilson Creek.

Fintan Romauld Fasching

Fintan Romauld Fasching, 70, passed away at home on his farm in Othello on Aug. 10, 2006. Born Feb. 17, 1936, in Winstead, Minn., on the family homestead to Joseph and Appolonia Fasching, he was the youngest of 12 children. He was fond of saying, "I had seven sisters and each one had five brothers." He graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1955 and moved to Sequim in 1959. He married Jeanne Hunt in 1965 and born to them were four children. Finn moved to Othello in 1969 and was a welder by trade. He married Marilyn Deal in 1978. After retirement, he pursued his love of farming, raising and showing registered Milking Shorthorns. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Appolonia Fasching and his brother Engelbert. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, and his four children: Jacqueline (Monte) Knapp, April Fasching, Mark (Christa) Fasching and Debra (Jon) Vaughn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two stepchildren, six step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on the front lawn of the farm at 786 S. Hillcrest Road, Othello, on Aug. 15 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Union Gospel Mission of Yakima. Arrangements are in care of Benson Family Funeral Service, Moses Lake.

Mary Agnes Maxwell Cornelsen, longtime Moses Lake resident passed away March 15, 2006 in Brush Prairie, where she was residing at Wisteria Gardens.

Pattsie Anne Leffler, beloved wife of Christian G. Leffler went home to her Heavenly Father at the age of 71 on Oct. 26, 2006, and was greeted there by her only son, Lance Leffler. Pat was born on July 6, 1935 to Stanley A. and Estella Lord in Richmond, Va. She attended Pottsville, Va. grammar and high schools and achieved a Bachelor of Arts in music from Penn State University. Christian and she were married on Aug. 21, 1954, and resided in Hampton, Va. before joining their son Lance and his wife Kathy, in Moses Lake in August of 1982. Pat Played the piano beautifully and taught many students throughout her adult life. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Pat will be greatly missed by many. Surviving Pat are her husband, Christian G. Leffler, her daughter-in-law, Kathy, grandchildren Amy (Blake) Ambridge, Jared (Karen) Piercy, Julie (Tim) Smith, Tiffany (Mike) Fletcher, Sara (David) McGuire, Christian C. Leffler and 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service was held today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center with Bishop Randy Gubler officiating. Arrangements are in care of Benson Family Funeral Service, Chapel, Crematory and Cemetery, Moses Lake.
