Ceann Raymond Larsen, 72, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Summer Wood Alzheimer's Special Care Center, in Moses Lake, Washington, with her beloved family by her side. Ceann was born September 2, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho, to the parents of Cedric Odell Raymond and Gwen Johnson. Ceann is the oldest of three girls. She grew up in small towns in Idaho, and was Valedictorian of her High School graduation class of 1959. She then went on to Idaho State University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She also served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New York area for 18 months. She taught school for a few years before she married the love of her life Gerald Larson on May 26, 1967 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They lived in many rural communities in Idaho, Utah and Washington while making Moses Lake home for nearly 30 years.

Kay Frances (Honsinger) Dirks passed peacefully from this world on July 25, 2022, attended by loving family members. Born April 2, 1942, she was a lifelong resident of Eastern Washington. Her passion was children, and she spent her adult life encouraging their love of fun and learning. Graduating from Palouse High School in 1960, she went on to graduate from Washington State University in 1964. She then taught for a time in Quincy schools before joining the North Central Washington Library system as the librarian of first the Quincy and then the Ephrata City Libraries, a position she held for more than three decades. Over that time, she became known to generations of Columbia Basin children, showing them how to find learning fun and important...
