Jiri Vanourek
Jiri Vanourek (JV), 84, of Othello, Wash. departed this mortal life while at his home, to be with his Lord amongst heaven’s mountains Sept. 18, 2015. He was born in Horky, Czechoslovakia on Jan. 30, 1931 to parents Vratislav and Ruzena (Zahradnikova) Vanourek. He and his two sisters grew up on the farm and he attended high school in the nearby town of Caslav.

WARDEN – Friends of Cody DeTrolio, along with Cody's fellow FFA members, are looking to raise as much money as they can for a memorial scholarship.
Johnny Lee Metzker Sr.
Johnny Lee Metzker Sr., 74, resident of Moses Lake, ended his journey on Sept. 10, 2015 at Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by loving family. He was born Aug. 29, 1941 in Poteau, Okla. to Howard and LaVera Metzker. He has two brothers, Ronnie and Larry, and two sisters, Sue and Jaunita.
Elda Jane (Draney) Noble
Elda Jane Noble was born to Julia (Heiner) and Eli Fowles on June 4, 1921 in Rupert, Idaho. She was the fifth of seven children. Elda was a longtime resident of Warden and Moses Lake, Wash. and passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Cottage in the Meadow in Yakima, Wash. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Keith & Keith Funeral Home in Yakima. Funeral services will be held at the LDS chapel in Warden, Wash., 1017 S. Country Rd on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 10:00 a.m. Viewing has been scheduled 30 minutes preceding the services and burial will follow at Memorial Gardens in Warden, Wash., at 11:15 a.m.

James Bascom Paris
James Bascom Paris, 93, of Moses Lake, Wash., went to be with his Lord on Aug. 31, 2015. James began this life on Dec. 31, 1921 in Paragould, Ark., the youngest of six children. His father, James Ernest Paris, was a pharmacist, and his beloved mother, Sally Bascom Paris, worked at the family-owned drug store.

Esta Emogene (Swearengin) Tate, 88, a longtime resident of Moses Lake passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015 at Brookdale at Hearthstone. Viewing was held from noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday, September 2 at Kayser’s Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 at the Assembly at Moses Lake Church, 431 E. Brown Ave., Moses Lake. Interment will follow at Pioneer Memorial Gardens.
