I-90 work extended through Friday near Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — Work on westbound I-90 exits in and near Moses Lake is slightly behind schedule and has been delayed, with exit closures slated for Friday, according to a statement from the Washington Department of Transportation. According to WSDoT, the contractor for the project will close westbound exit 169 at Hiawatha Valley Road and westbound exit 164 at Dodson Road from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Both exits are expected to open to traffic again by Friday evening. Work on the Hiawatha Road exit was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was delayed due to planning issues that put the work on westbound exits between mileposts 164 and 175 days behind. The roadway is being resurfaced near the two affected intersections.
