At the Washington ABA Tournaments 2-1 day events, Saturday winners were the father-and-son team of Levi and 5-year-old Mason Meseberg, who brought 23.13 pounds to the scales. Thirty-two teams fished Saturday; there were 31 limits and the average fish weight was 3.49 pounds. On Sunday, winners were Aaron Echternkamp and Dave Kromm with 20.81 pounds. I-90 work extended through Friday near Moses Lake
MOSES LAKE — Work on westbound I-90 exits in and near Moses Lake is slightly behind schedule and has been delayed, with exit closures slated for Friday, according to a statement from the Washington Department of Transportation. According to WSDoT, the contractor for the project will close westbound exit 169 at Hiawatha Valley Road and westbound exit 164 at Dodson Road from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Both exits are expected to open to traffic again by Friday evening. Work on the Hiawatha Road exit was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was delayed due to planning issues that put the work on westbound exits between mileposts 164 and 175 days behind. The roadway is being resurfaced near the two affected intersections.

Two Soap Lake residents were injured and a 37-year-old unidentified person died Thursday night in a collision on Interstate 90 in Kittitas County, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Lilyan Viola Jones, mother of Betty (Irvin) Morehouse of Toppenish, WA and Lois (Ralph) Kincaid of Moses Lake, WA died peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Summerwood. Born August 16, 1917, in Coleman, Alberta, Canada, Lilyan grew up and went to school in Spokane, Washington where she graduated from North Central High School.

Marguerite Pete Naab went home to be with the Lord on Thursday October 7th, 2010. Marguerite "Marge" passed away peacefully with her husband of 60 years and family around her. She was born on August 9th, 1930, in Salt Lake City Utah to Peter and Marguerite Bogovich. She met Benedict "Ben" Robert Naab in Coulee City, Washington and was married on September 21, 1950. They shared their 60th wedding anniversary this year.
