Donald E. Boruff, 75, beloved husband and father, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee following an extended illness. Donald was born in Ephrata, May 1, 1933, to F.F. “Slats” and Calista Boruff where he and his family have been lifelong residents of the Quincy/Ephrata area. After graduation from high school, Donald served two years in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge. On Nov. 1, 1961, Donald married Bonnie V. Butcher in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Donald and Bonnie made their home on the family farm in Quincy whem Donald worked as a farmer his entire life with his father Slats.

Our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, and friend, Milton B. Sandlie, died Aug. 8, 2007, in Republic, Wash., of heart failure. He was born Sept. 23, 1938, in Glasgow, Mont., to Adolph Peter and Mary Sandlie. He was raised in Bremerton, Wash., but driving down any stretch of highway was where his heart was.
