Wally Maygren passed peacefully in Moses Lake, Washington, on July 20, 2023, at the age of 88. His friends and family will certainly miss his sense of humor and lust for life. He is survived by his (elderly) children David Wallace and Dana Lynn; six grands Bowen Maygren, Matthew Maygren, Brett Maygren, Tami Wilson, Jake Hunter and Rikki Hunter; 12 greats and two great-greats. Wally was married to Myrna for 60 years until her passing in 2017.

City of Moses Lake Notice of Application, Public Hearing and Optional DNS Mike Suhling submitted an application on January 8, 2019 to install a 192 square foot dock (8' x24') extension to an existing 160 square foot dock (8' x 20'). Existing dock and gangway were approved by exemption in 2018. The water is shallow in this area and no other impacts are identified to the shoreline. The property is located at 1212 Eastlake Drive, Moses Lake, WA. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on February 8, 2019. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 16: Building & Construction, Title 18: Zoning. Environmental review is required for this project. The City of Moses Lake has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for this project. The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. No adverse environmental impacts have been identified, so no mitigating conditions have been identified as necessary through SEPA. The project review process may include additional mitigation measures under applicable codes. Written comments on this project proposal from public agencies with jurisdiction will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on March 1, 2019. Comments on other aspects of this proposal from the general public will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing which will be before the Planning Commission on Thursday March 14, 2019, during their regular meeting starting at 7:00pm. Persons who want to be informed of future actions, or the final decision, on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completeness and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in MLMC 20.11, Appeals.
