Jeffrey (Jeff) Paul Scheib, 62, passed away Nov. 22 while visiting family in the Dallas, Texas area. Jeff was born Nov. 1, 1960, in Soap Lake, Washington, son of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Scheib. He attended Delancey Houghton Elementary, Soap Lake High School and the University of Washington. He worked for several public and private institutions as a software developer, including UW Medical School, Harborview Medical Center, Intel Corp, Qualcomm and Wells Fargo. His favorite pastimes were tennis, racquetball, badminton and living life to the fullest with his friends and family.

Larry Tracy, 79, passed away at home on June 14, 2023. A lifelong resident of Moses Lake, he loved his family, friends, animals – especially cats – practicing law, music, driving and collecting antiques and artifacts. Lawrence Lee Tracy was born in Iowa on March 10, 1944, to Dr. Harold and Gladys Tracy in Iowa. He was the oldest of their seven children, followed 17 months later by his brother Ron. After their dad returned from service in Okinawa, the family moved to Eastern Washington in 1946 where he finished his residency in Spokane, then to LaCrosse, Washington. Their sister Barbara was born during those years. By 1949 they moved to Moses Lake, where they remained and the rest of the Tracy siblings were born. Larry was the quintessential big brother of the family.

Larry Kenneth Kling, 78, passed away July 29, 2023, at his home in Woodinville, Washington. Larry was born in Sidney, Montana to Leah and Reinholt Kling on July 2, 1945. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1964. He married his high school sweetheart Linda Kay Rieker on Feb. 11, 1967, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moses Lake, Washington. He worked as a visual merchandise manager at JC Penney for 39 years. He also worked for Northshore School District as a school bus driver for 16 years where he knew all the kids’ names on his bus. Larry is preceded in death by his beloved mother Leah Kling and his father Reinholt Kling.
