A call to the Fish and Wildlife Region Two office in Ephrata confirms there are no current flooding restrictions of Fish and Wildlife areas in the Columbia Basin. It never fails. Just about when we can expect the Icicle River to open to spring salmon fishing the rivers blow out, and I mean really blow out. The Wenatchee at Plain reached over 10,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) and the river at Peshastin and Monitor went over 15,000 cfs.
