Marcos Hernandez "Marc" Gonzalez, 42, lifelong resident of Moses Lake passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee after suffering from heart disease and other illnesses. Marcos was born February 3, 1969 in Moses Lake, Washington to Rojelio C. "Roy" and Mary (Hernandez) Gonzalez.

WENATCHEE – Amid a record return of sockeye salmon to the Columbia River, fishery managers in Washington’s North Central region announced that sockeye fishing will open on Lake Wenatchee and the Wenatchee River.

SOAP LAKE - Despite 21 points from David Coreas and 14 points from Jason Korneychuk, the Soap Lake Eagles fell 64-54 on Friday to end their season short of a Central Washington 2B league district playoff spot.

This past week-end over 200 Lions from Washington, British Columbia and Idaho came to Moses Lake for the Annual Multiple District 19 D Lions Spring Conference. A wonderful time was had by everyone. Good food, good friends and special times. It took a lot of planning and work on everyone's behalf.

Randy Eugene Witte, 52, of Moses Lake, Washington, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023. He was born in Chehalis, Washington on July 31, 1970, to Rock and Cindy Witte, and moved to Ephrata, Washington at 16 months old where he grew up to be an avid reader and lover of the arts, building pinewood derby cars in Boy Scouts, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and having sewer wars with his friends out on the farm. Randy graduated Ephrata High School where he was involved in drama.
