Barry Lawson best candidate for council
Barry Lawson is an excellent candidate for our Moses Lake City Council. Having interacted professionally with Barry for a number of years, both through our businesses and through volunteer work in the community, I have always found Barry to be passionate in all that he does and to take pride in doing the job well. Barry is vested in our community as a business owner and property owner. Barry has experience on a board for a credit union which shows me that he looked out for the members; he will work for the best interests of the citizens of Moses Lake. I am a former member of the Moses Lake Planning Commission and have had several discussions with Barry regarding issues and processes concerning our city government. In my opinion, Barry is the best candidate for Position 4. For these reasons, I will cast my vote for Barry Lawson and would encourage you to vote for Barry also.
Barry Lawson belongs on City Council
It is a pleasure to support Barry Lawson for Moses Lake City Council Position No. 4. Barry cares about our city and understands the importance of providing for public safety, recreational activities, et cetera as they relate to enriching our community for our current residents and those looking to relocate. As a business owner, Barry also understands that the programs must be sustainable. I trust Barry’s judgment as well as his willingness to listen to and work with other stakeholders. Please join me in voting for Barry Lawson.
A word from Moses Lake's sister city
City council needs solutions, not curfews
I cannot vote on Moses Lake City Council members because I live in the county, but I would never vote for Mike Norman if his “recommendation” to rid our city of homeless people is a curfew on the park. Instead, how about: providing a shelter and/or affordable housing, helping students graduate (backpacks, school supplies, hygiene packs), provide jobs, allowing a tent city and/or benches that provide shelter, free meals, portable showers et cetera?

Riggs' wisdom and experience good for council
I support Mike Riggs for Moses Lake City Council Position No. 1. He is insightful and conciliatory with group dynamics and conflict. He has a concern for the common good of our community and the management experience to make decisions that balance the interests of individuals and business with the overall interests of the community. Moses Lake will be faced with significant expansion and development in the coming years. Mike`s wise and experienced judgment will be a benefit to our community.
