SPOKANE — A federal court judge in Spokane has ruled evidence collected from the cell phone of former Warden City Council member Michael Leavitt is admissible. A new trial date in the case has been set for late March.

Royal City Council approves contractor

ROYAL CITY — The Royal City council met for it regular meeting on Tuesday evening, March 5. During the meeting, Apollo Inc, of Kennewick, was awarded the contract for the city’s UV construction project. They will be doing the construction and installation necessary to install the city’s new ultraviolet disinfection system at the wastewater plant. The old system is no longer being supported by the manufacturer.
