Moses Lake — Grant Transit Authority (GTA) welcomed their new general manager with a reception Thursday evening, Oct. 17, before a regular meeting for the board of directors. Greg Wright has previously worked as the general manager for GTA. He left GTA for four years to work for the Washington State Department of Transportation. He had been the general manager of GTA for seven years prior to that.

WARDEN — Crack sealing has been happening in Warden, was the report from Warden Public Works Director Don Edson during a regular city council meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Public Works has also been testing fire hydrants and preparing equipment for winter.

Royal City — The City of Royal City has representatives from the state auditor’s office doing an on-site audit. Royal City Finance Director Shilo Christensen told the city council about the audit during a regular city council meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 1. The audit takes two weeks onsite. A final report won’t be ready for several weeks.
