BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION: NOTICE OF HEARING RESOLUTION No. 16 - 204 -CC IN THE MATTER OF DECLARING CERTAIN COUNTY-OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS AND ORDERING THE RECYCLING THEREOF WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to conduct a public hearing on its intention to declare certain County-owned property surplus and dispose of same through recycling; and WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works has determined that this equipment is obsolete, has been discontinued, or replaced by newer models; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Grant County Public Works to recycle surplus property through TruRecycle (a division of Monarch Association) who will recycle these items; WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works has the equipment listed on the attached list; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held in the Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners at the Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington at 2:00 P.M. on January 10, 2017 and anyone either for or against these proposed actions may appear and be heard. This ordinance, which was passed on April 11, 2017, will take effect and be in force five days after publication. Ordinance No. 2859 An ordinance amending Chapter 10.12 of the Moses Lake Municipal Code entitled "Parking Regulations" (This summary is published pursuant to RCW 35A.12.160. The Moses Lake City Council adopted an ordinance which prohibits parking on both sides of Lakeland Drive from East Oasis Circle to Nelson Road. This ordinance, which was passed on April 25, 2017, will take effect and be in force five days after publication. Ordinance No. 286058 An ordinance amending repealing Ordinance No. 2484 and terminating the franchise granted therein (This summary is published pursuant to RCW 35A.12.160. The Moses Lake City Council adopted an ordinance which terminates the franchise granted for a private irrigation main under Truman Drive. Cheree Hope Raugust
Cheree Hope Raugust was born on Sept. 1, 1927 in Spokane, Was. to Elroy and Hope Reinemer. Cheree was an only child. Cheree received her Elementary Education degree from Washington State University and later her bachelor’s degree. Cheree was an elementary teacher for the Moses Lake School District for many years before retiring. She loved teaching and felt each child was special in their own way. Cheree married the love of her life, William Raugust Jr., in Spokane, Wash. on Aug. 15, 1964. Cheree leaves behind a daughter and close friend, Maria Hartman and a great-granddaughter, Caden Essex.
