ROYAL CITY – While the Knight offense lit up scoreboards this fall, it was the play of Royal’s defense that stomped out the dreams of opposing teams looking to pull off an upset, surrendering just eight touchdowns in 13 games this season.

EPHRATA — The Ephrata Tigers (1-8) defeated the Quincy Jacks (0-9) 3-0 on Tuesday. The Tigers were hitting all cylinders, holding the Jacks to 11 points in all three sets. Head Coach Britney MacLeod said it was good to see her team get a league win Tuesday night.

MOSES LAKE – The Big Bend Community College Vikings (2-16) played at home against Walla Walla Community College Wednesday night where they ultimately fell 0-3. “I think we have a lot of potential, we get out there, we feel good, we make a couple mistakes, we just need to find our groove and stick to it and not let our mistakes dictate our game,” said Vikings freshman Trinity Dotson.
Knights gain victory at home against Wahluke
ROYAL CITY – The Royal City Knights earned a solid 3-1 victory on their home court over the Wahluke Warriors. The matchup remained close between the two teams throughout as the South Central Athletic Conference rivals battled it out to stay in the postseason runnings.

CHENEY – Back in the 2B boys state tournament for the first time since 2016, the No. 9 seed Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos used strong defensive play in the second half to defeat No. 16 Dayton-Waitsburg 53-35 on Saturday afternoon. “I thought it would be a grind-it-out game,” LRS Head Coach Dustan Arlt said. “They swarmed Chase (Galbreath) down low. The nerves – we didn’t shoot very well. We missed a lot of shots, fortunately so did (Dayton-Waitsburg) that first half.”
