NOTICE OF STATE'S INTENT TO NEGOTIATE LEASE Department of Natural Resources will begin negotiation of expiring leases with existing lessees on the following parcels. All leases are subject to third party bids by interested parties. Lease terms and bidding information is available by calling the Southeast Region at 1-800-527-3305 or by visiting the Region Office at 713 Bowers Road, Ellensburg, Washington 98926. The envelope must be marked "Sealed Bid" and give the lease number, expiration date of lease applied for, and give the applicant's name. Notice of Application - Date of Notice: February 22, 2019. Notice is hereby given that Grant County has received a SEPA checklist from Stevens Land Holdings (Designated Contact: 5591 State Hwy 28 E, Soap Lake, WA 98851) and determined this application to be technically complete on February 19, 2019. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: Construction of six (6) hay covers over existing stack pads. Five of the hay covers will be approximately 12,000 square feet in size and one hay cover will be 8,000 square feet in size. ADDITIONAL PERMITS REQUIRED: Building Permit (BF 19-0067). STUDIES SUBMITTED: None. LOCATION: The project site is located at 5595 State Hwy 28 E. The project site is situated in Section 12, Township 22 N, Range 27 E, W.M., Grant County, WA. Parcel #31-3981-000. PRESENT ZONING: Agricultural. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code.
