Rice Brothers to perform in concert Nov. 14
MOSES LAKE — The cello-piano duo the Rice Brothers will bring a mix of classical, classic pop and jazz sounds to the stage at the Wallenstein Theater at 7 p.m. Nov. 14. It’s the second concert of the season for the Central Basin Community Concert Association.

MATTAWA — Unopposed and opposed candidates for Mattawa City Council and Mattawa mayor attended the South Grant County candidate forum Oct. 25 at Wahluke High School, put on by the South Grant County Chamber of Commerce. Incumbent mayoral candidate Maria Celaya and incumbent council candidate Brian Berghout were not in attendance. Candidates answered the same questions and spoke about various topics and issues in Mattawa.

QUINCY — Vantage Data Centers cut the ribbon on the final phase of its existing facility in Quincy Oct. 18. Simon Casey, the company’s vice president of construction for the Western United States, said the construction expanded the data center to 777,000 square feet. All of that is occupied by one customer, Casey said.

MOSES LAKE – The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration announced Oct. 23 the designation of 31 Tech Hubs across the country, including two in Washington, the American Aerospace Materials Manufacturing Tech Hub in the Spokane Valley and the Pacific Northwest Mass Timber Tech Hub.
