Notice of Application & Proposed DNS December 21, 2016 Notice is hereby given that a SEPA Checklist was received by the Grant County Planning Department on November 29, 2016 from Grant County Public Works (Designated Contact: Jeff Tincher, P.E., 124 Enterprise Street SE, Ephrata, WA 98823) and was found to be Technically Complete on December 15, 2016. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal, and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: Proposed ordinance to allow for the operation of Wheeled All-Terrain Vehicles (WATVs) on/in existing County Road Rights of Way within the community of Sunland Estates only (not including Sunland Road). STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The community known as Sunland Estates. Located in portions of Sections 2 and 11, Township 18 North, Range 22 East, W.M., Grant County, WA. ZONING: SD4. PUBLIC HEARING: BOCC Hearing will be scheduled at a later date.
