Job Corp graduates prepare to make their mark in the world
MOSES LAKE — It was a small ceremony as commencements go, but the emotions were huge at the Columbia Basin Job Corps Center graduation. “This is home,” said Susan Mann, the center’s liaison officer. “Most of the students are here for about a year, 24-seven. They become very, very well-bonded. That's actually the part of Job Corps that I've always loved, is that student bonding."

Dennis Hall
Dennis G. Hall, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 30. He was born in Tacoma, Washington on Oct. 19, 1957, to Anthony “Tony” J. and Gertrude “Trudy” A. Hall. A celebration of life will be held after the new year (date to be determined). Dennis was a loving father of five, grandfather of one and friend to many. He was always up before the sun and the first to say “Good morning” and give a smile; therefore, he had earned the nickname Mr. Morning. He married the love of his life Patsy L. Conner on Sept. 15, 1979, in Othello, Washington. Shortly after, they moved to Moses Lake, Washington to create a loving home and raise a beautiful family.
