My wife Eileen and I often try Evergreen Reservoir over the 4th of July holiday.  We usually catch the fireworks in the evening and the Evergreen is a quick trip.  It's just outside of Quincy and makes a nice day trip from Leavenworth.  This year we found the reservoir still filling and the water cold and clouded.  I will use that as my excuse for poor fishing.
