Warden City Council reviews preliminary 2026 budget

WARDEN — The Warden City Council held its preliminary budget review Tuesday night. The presentation was strictly informational with action to be taken by council at upcoming meetings. The city must pass its budget by the end of the 2025 fiscal year.

ROYAL CITY – The Royal Knights (8-9) finished their regular season with a 3-0 win over Kiona-Benton on the road. Their win solidified the Knights for a fifth-place tie in the South Central Athletic Conference, Head Coach Lisa Lawrence said.

Tigers conclude season in second round of districts

EPHRATA – The Ephrata Tigers (6-8) soccer season ended Tuesday evening in the second round of the Central Washington Athletic Conference against Ellensburg with a final score of 1-4. Tigers head coach Gary Klepec said it was a tough postseason matchup, but he is proud of how the team performed this season.
