He leaves his daughters Reneé Nearing, Debbie Brown, Harriet Michael and Virginia Claxton and a son Orland C. Favaro, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sandra Lee Adams, age 77, of Othello, Wash., passed away peacefully in her sleep March 5, 2017 in Moses Lake, Wash. She was born in Seattle on March 20, 1939 to parents Milton Walker and Florence (Clayton) Walker. Her father was a mechanic for Boeing and her mother was a homemaker. They earned notoriety for building the “Walker Rock Garden” in their back yard, which is still standing today.

Our beloved mother, Connie A. Rodriguez, age 63, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, July 22, 2017. She was born in Hamilton, Montana on April 28, 1954. Connie graduated from Othello High School’s class of 1972 and received her Associate of Arts and Science degree from Big Bend Community College.

Daniel A. Sarles Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on Dec. 25, 2016 at his home in Benton City, Wash. He was born in Washington, Penn. on Feb. 25, 1936 to Daniel and Ruth (Stenhouse) Hufford. After Dan’s father passed away early in his life, Dan was adopted by Hugh Sarles when his mother remarried. Dan spent 20 years in the United States Air Force retiring in 1974 while stationed in Othello, Wash. Following this, Dan was the building maintenance engineer who kept the Othello hospital running smoothly for many years and later worked for Westinghouse as an electrical and instrumentation specialist. Dan was a quiet man, who dearly loved all of his children and grandchildren. Some of his other passions were golf, hunting and helping remodel the Pine Street Baptist Church. After 51 years of marriage, Dan was preceded in death by his wife Mildred A. (Thompson) whom he lovingly cared for during her final years until her death in 2006.

Dennis Wayne Britton, 81, of Soap Lake, Washington, died Dec. 25, 2023, at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco, Washington, of congestive heart failure. He was born in Pasco to Willard “Wayne” and Darlene “Dolly” Britton. He was raised in Kennewick and was a longtime resident of Soap Lake. Dennis honorably served four years in the United States Navy. His careers included TV and electronic repair and working as a long-haul truck driver. The job he was most proud of was as a dam operator/electrician with the Grand Coulee Project Hydroelectric Authority, where he was considered to be very knowledgeable and highly respected in the field. He retired in 2008. Dennis married Shirley Johnson in 1986. During their 37 years together, they enjoyed traveling and would take regular road trips to visit family and friends.
