Gettings and Verona Mae Bales on June 25, 1935, in Walla Walla, Wash. Gail met the love of his life Elizabeth (Betty) Grueniech in a high school psychology class. Gail and Betty were married Feb. 13, 1955.

John O. Asker, Jr., 78, of Soap Lake, passed away Feb. 5 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. An Idaho native, John grew up in Grangeville, Idaho, graduated from the University of Idaho and served in the U.S. army during the Korean War.
